Whether you are exploring the Christian faith, looking for a place to serve, or simply seeking spiritual encouragement, we welcome you at the First Congregational Church of Essex. Sunday morning worship and Sunday school for children begins at 10:30 a.m. (summer hours are 9:30 a.m.). Infant and toddler care is available in our nursery. Sunday school for adults is held before worship at 9:15 a.m.
During the week, a youth group for 5th and 6th graders is offered on Sunday evenings, and for middle
and high schoolers on Monday evenings. A wide range of small, fellowship and study groups is
available for adults. Classes for new members, Alpha, short-term mission trips, and opportunities
for Christian service in the Cape Ann area are also available throughout the year.
