Pastor: Timothy M. Ziegenhals began his pastoral role at the First Congregational Church of Essex in 1994. Tim graduated with his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton, Massachusetts. He also holds a D.Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA, and a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Mercy Center, Colorado Springs, CO. Tim is married to Rama, who is also a trained spiitual director. Before entering the ministry, they both worked for a number of years in the area of corporate lending. They have two teenage daughters, Thais and Iela.
Jason Lawrenz Jason is currently a student in the Masters of Divinity program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He holds a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Wheaton College, in Wheaton, IL (2005). He enjoys writing and has served as a columnist for Ignite Your Faith, a youth magazine of Christianity Today International. He and his wife, Robin, were married in 2007 and enjoy ministering in the church together. Michael Huth holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and a Master of Music degree from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. During the past 19 years, he has been active as a performer and conductor in the North Shore area. Activities include: instructor of saxophone at Gordon College, guest conductor at Gordon College, saxophone soloist at Gordon and many other venues, and music director and choir director at several North Shore churches.
