North Shore Ringers Looking for New Ringers! Come Join Them!
“Honoring God with excellence and fun in the world of music.”
Previous experience in music or knowledge of music theory is not a requirement to join either the North Shore Ringers or the Paul Revere Ringers. As a matter of fact, this is a wonderful and fun way to be introduced to the world of music! There is no charge to join either group, but given the importance of each member of a bell choir, a certain level of commitment is required.
The North Shore Ringers is a youth Hand Bell ministry. All members are trained in music theory. They participate in worship, including our annual Christmas Pageant, as well as other churches around the North Shore. They have also appeared annually at the Topsfield Fair, the annual holiday tree-lighting ceremony at the Gloucester waterfront, and have been broadcast on radio station North Shore 104.9 as part of State Sen. Bruce Tarr’s annual holiday toy drive. Membership consists of youths from all over the North Shore. We accept and welcome all ages:
Paul Revere Ringers , adults, rehearse following worship from 12-1 p.m.
Jubilee Ringers, grades 1-3 rehearse Sunday's from 3-4:15 p.m.
Concert Group, grades 4-12 rehearse Sunday's from 4-6 p.m.
In addition to regular appearances in worship, we also have appeared at the Town of Essex annual Memorial Tree-Lighting ceremony. We meet seasonally.
